Join the Oxford Energy Society in their first speaker event of the year in their AI and Energy series! Dr. Lucas Kruitwagen will be joining them to talk about how AI and machine learning can contribute to the clean energy transition.

Lucas did his DPhil in Oxford when he authored a paper published in Nature Journal on using machine learning and satellite imagery to develop the most complete inventory of solar PV installations all over the world, starting the field of satellite-based identification and analysis of energy systems. As the Co-Founder of Oxford Earth Observation and former CTO of TransitionZero, his further works have been related to utilising machine learning technologies to further the energy transition and sustainability.

Lucas will share his insights on AI’s role in clean energy. Join in with this inspiring event and be part of the conversation shaping our sustainable future.
