UKRI policy fellowships 2023
An opportunity to work with the new Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (among others).
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) invites early- and mid-career researchers to apply to collaborate on informing government policy around pressing national and global challenges. If selected, Fellows will co-design research with the host organisation to spend 18 months informing policy in a priority area, and helping improve the exchange of knowledge between policy and academic organisations. The cohort will be supported in career development and should enhance fellows’ understanding of applying research in government contexts. UKRI will fund 80% of full economic cost (FEC): Whitehall/devolved administration roles FEC is £170k and for the What Works Network the FEC is £210k.
