UK welcomes 60,000th electric van

The number of electric vans on UK roads has surged by 19.4%, reaching a total of 60,000 since 2018.
New figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) reveal a notable surge in new electric van registrations in the UK.
According to the data, the demand for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) grew by 19.4% in January, with 1,186 units registered, bringing the total number of new BEVs on the roads since 2018 to 60,517.
