Labour’s new climate plan says homes will be encouraged, not forced, to switch to heat pumps through extended grants and green incentives.
Because of a consumer backlash over the transition to clean energy, and the Conservative’s plan to ban the installation of gas boilers beyond 2035, consumers will now not be forced to ditch their gas boilers in favour of heat pumps.
