New digital resource for Flex Service Providers
The Energy Networks Association (ENA) has launched a new online resource to help new and existing flexibility service providers participate in the growing local flexibility market.
Driven by the government’s Smart Systems and Flexibility Plan and supported by Ofgem, the ENA programme aims to make the energy flexibility market easier to take part in, more coordinated, and more transparent.
The webpage provides valuable information about each step, from network planning and forecasting to revenue stacking and the settlement of payments.
The Open Networks programme has been instrumental in informing the transition to Distribution System Operation (DSO) and establishing the UK as the world leader in the development of local flexibility markets.
