EDF Energy aims to extend life of UK nuclear plants

The BBC has reported that EDF Energy is planning to extend the operational life of GB power plant.
The investment would be made at advanced gas-cooled reactors in Heysham and Hartlepool, subject to the approvals of regulatory authorities. The pressurised water reactor at Sizewell B also had potential for life extension, decision to be made in 2025.
