University of Oxford and Ellison Institute of Technology join forces in a transformative strategic alliance

University of Oxford and the Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT) announced today that they are entering a long-term strategic alliance to develop the solutions and future leaders needed to tackle some of the greatest and most enduring challenges facing humanity with an investment of at least £130m from EIT. The alliance was confirmed in a signing ceremony which took place at Oxford’s Clarendon Building.
The alliance is centred on collaboration to accelerate innovation across EIT’s four Humane Endeavours:
- health and medical science
- food security and sustainable agriculture
- climate change and clean energy
- government innovation in the age of artificial intelligence.
