UK Parliament inquiry | Energy Security and Net Zero Committee, House of Commons
The Energy Security and Net Zero Committee has launched an inquiry examining the potential for UK manufacturing to play a greater role in the supply chain for low-carbon energy projects and the Government support available.
The inquiry’s proposed aims are to:
- determine where, in the low-carbon energy sector, the greatest potential for a UK supply chain lies
- explore how effectively the Government is supporting industry to reach this potential
- understand how growing a more local supply chain could affect progress towards the goal of a secure, decarbonised electricity sector by 2035.
