New Chair sought for Climate Change Committee

The UK Government and Devolved Governments are jointly seeking to appoint a new Chair to the Climate Change Committee (CCC), which comprises the Mitigation committee and the Adaptation Committee. The CCC is an independent, statutory body established under the Climate Change Act 2008. The Chair will provide independent advice, monitor progress conduct independent analysis into climate change science, economics and policy; and will engage with a wide range of organisations and individuals.
