iDODDLE Studentships: The digitalisation of daily life and its impacts on climate change

Three DPhil studentships are available for full-time study (October 2022 – September 2025) at the Environmental Change Institute, School of Geography and Environment, University of Oxford. The studentships will cover full University fees and a maintenance allowance for three years.

These positions are fully funded through by the iDODDLE project on the digitalisation of daily life and its impacts on climate change. All three DPhil positions will work on current research questions with high scientific and policy relevance, under the following broad themes:

Project 1: How and why are digital technologies used in daily life?
Project 2: How can digital technologies used in daily life help tackle climate change?
Project 3: What are the impacts of digitalisation on energy, materials, and carbon emissions?
