The programme is led by the National Science Foundation (NSF), which has partnered with funding organisations in Australia, Canada, and the UK to support large-scale collaborative research.
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) has identified four priority areas for Track 1 awards, under its ‘Clean Energy’ theme, and these include: systems approaches to tackling the ‘final 20%’; targeting the difficult to decarbonise; and removing the barriers to uptake of solutions.
UKRI will fund at 80% projects full economic cost of up to £6.25m, of 5 years duration, and must start between 1 Oct and 31 Dec 2023.
Closes 4pm Thu 11 May.
