Farewell radiators? Testing out electric infrared wallpaper

Infrared, electric wallpaper technology could potentially have a big impact on the UK's carbon footprint and ability to meet climate targets.

Is Infrared wallpaper a potentially cheaper way to heat our houses? The system uses thin, metallic sheets that are hidden behind the plaster of walls, which are connected to the mains electricity of the house.

Of course homes also need hot water for washing up and showers. In homes that use exclusively electric wallpaper, this can be provided by an electric immersion heater.
