Energy UK indicates over £1bn consumer bill savings available

When Britain left the European Union, it also left the internal energy market. The inefficiencies of ad hoc trading arrangements are said to be increasing the cost of energy.
A report from Energy UK highlights the benefits that more efficient trading arrangements and greater coordination with the continent could bring in the future, noting the potential to cut energy costs by up to £1.1bn per year.
