After a very successful first edition in 2024, the Sustainability Research Working Group at Worcester College is organising the second edition of Worcester Energy Day.

In partnership with the ZERO Institute at Oxford, this promises to be a one-of-a-kind event which aims to gather the entire energy research community across the University to learn and appreciate the diverse research themes being explored in different groups. They will focus on all aspects of energy generation, conversion, consumption and storage and will hear about the recent advances in these fields from faculty experts, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students across the different STEM and non-STEM departments at the University of Oxford. This will be done through a mix of oral presentations and flash talks, while keeping ample opportunities for discussion and networking.

This will be a great opportunity for anyone wishing to present their research and also expand their knowledge into related fields. It can also be a nice platform to practice presentation and communication skills to a broad academic audience (akin to international conferences), which are absolutely critical components of research/academic life.

Register by 17th February 2025
Researchers should indicate whether they would like to present their research and if so, provide a short summary of their presentation of within 150 words here

If they are a first year graduate student or a senior undergraduate student and do not yet have results to present, they are highly encouraged to still register without giving any presentation.
