The recent climate talks in Warsaw have provoked frustration and outrage. The meeting of governments from around the globe, officially known as Conference of the Parties (COP 19) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC), has seen whole delegations leaving the conference centre in protest and the gap between political positions widen. Even after a 36-hour negotiation marathon at the end of the conference it is not clear whether thelong-awaited Paris 2015 summit will actually see a new agreement signed.
