How can researchers best engage with the UK Parliament Select Committees and ensure their research has enduring policy impact?
The panel will explore opportunities and practicalities of contributing evidence, building relationships with committees, and navigating the evolving sustainability policy landscape in 2026. Drawing on energy, climate and environmental policy examples, the session will offer insights relevant across all disciplines.
Speakers include parliamentary committee specialists Misha Patel (University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science alumna) and Gary O’Key, and Radhika Khosla, Associate Professor, Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment – University of Oxford. The event is moderated by Dr Anupama Sen, Associate Director of Impact and Head of Policy Engagement at the Smith School.
